In industrial maintenance one job follows another: a repair, an inspection, a small installation. Each has its hours, its materials and its customer, and if they are not recorded properly, the margin gets lost among them.
The hard part is not doing the job but knowing afterwards what it cost: which operatives were there, how many normal, overtime or holiday hours, what material it received and what has been invoiced. GControl brings all of that together in the job, under its code.

Not a CMMS
The contractor's software and not the plant's
GControl does not manage a plant's equipment or its preventive maintenance plan: that is what computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) are for. GControl is the software for the company that does the work.
It handles its quotes and jobs, its job sheets and its materials, and shows the margin each customer and each type of activity leaves, with reports in Excel pivot tables. Job sheets also record each worker's hours, to automate payroll.
Is GControl a preventive maintenance system (CMMS)?
No. GControl does not manage a plant's equipment or maintenance plan: it is the software for the company that does the work, with its quotes, job sheets, materials and the cost of every job.

Can workers clock in from their mobile?
Yes. With the Android app they record the start, end and breaks of the working day, at your premises or at the customer's site, and fill in their job sheets with normal, overtime and holiday hours. The office sees it in real time and prints the signed timesheet.
Does it produce work orders?
Yes. For each job the service request is printed: the work order, signed at the start and at the end. The job is opened with its code, has a supervisor and a person in charge, receives the operatives' job sheets and is closed with its completion date.
