GControl handles the job costing of every job: it codes quotes and jobs in a standard way and charges job sheets and materials to them, so you know what each one costs and what it makes.

Quote and job information is coded in a standard way, so it can be classified by year, customer and type of activity.
- Quotes carry labour and materials broken down by line item.
- When the quote is accepted, the job is opened with its code and receives the workers' job sheets and the material deliveries.
- Each hour is valued at the rate card for the worker's job grade.
- What has been invoiced on each job is imported from Sage, to compare the cost with the revenue.

How is the cost of each job calculated?
With the hours on the job sheets valued at the rate card of each job grade, plus the material delivered to each job.

Does it connect with Sage?
Yes. GControl imports delivery notes and invoices from Sage, so you can compare the cost of each job with what was invoiced, and exports payroll data to Sage.
How does material reach each job?
Through material deliveries: each delivery, with its supplier and delivery note, is charged to the job at its cost. Delivery notes are imported from Sage, and the materials control reports give the detail for each job.
